Milling About with Daniel Radcliffe & John Krokidas
Daniel Radcliffe was once the bespectacled boy wizard of Harry Potter. With a bit of a scruff and near 25 it doesn't seem odd that he prefers Dan. Speaking to him since he's 10, you happily adopt the name as he's permanently left the Hogwarts building. In Kill Your Darlings he may still be wearing Potter-shaped glasses but the comparisons firmly end there. Dan joins host Robin Milling to discuss taking on the role of Beat poet Allen Ginsberg. He tells Robin he modestly dabbled in sonnets when he was 17, but now he's working towards writing screenplays he can direct. To get into the mindset of unrequited heartache for Lucien Carr (played by Dane DeHaan), director John Krokidas, who also joins Robin, suggested he borrow Renee Zelwegger's method of listening to music before the scene. Dan chose jazz singer Jo Stafford while Krokidas turned to bands such as The Libertines with similar torture in their relationship. John, who is well versed in the Beat Generation keyed into Ginsberg for being openly gay in the 40s and taking his freedom of expression all the way to the Supreme Court. He tells Robin he aspires to be that brave and hopes the film will do the same for audiences. 'Maybe,' he says, 'you will take pen to paper and create something revolutionary.'

Another Fork in the Road: Panel - Daily Living, Organization, & Brain Injury
Organization is important in all living, but it become essential with someone living with a brain injury. Survivor, Lisa Dryer, and caregiver, Jeannette Davidson-Mayer, will join me to discuss this topic and share ideas on how they make their lives and those of their families easier through keeping organnized.
Every TBI survivor and caregiver has encountered a fork in the road that has diverted his or her life-plan. A car accident, a fall from the roof, doing one more chin-up, or a door literally slamming one in the face are just some causes of traumatic brain injury. College plans, walking down the aisle in the perfect dress, or the coveted job quickly slip from reality as dreams turn to struggle. These unexpected life-happenings that divert one from his or her chosen path in life can be devastating. But as Yogi Berra once said, "If you come to a fork in the road, take it." Life is all about choices!

The Matt Duffin Show - Fall Back? Relapse or Time?
Change your clocks, and your Smoke Detector batteries. I don't care for the first part too much, but as a reminder for the later its sure nice - if folks will do so. "Spring Ahead"? OK, we can try, as long as the direction is forward. Fall Back? Surely you don't want me to think about RELAPSE. A relapse will happen "at will" with Brain Disruptions bouncing like they've been sprung, one reason I don't like to FALL BACK. The 'extra' hour of sleep? I'm not going anywhere, I can sleep in. In our world, its confusing, occasionnally perplexing.
Then. there are the RELASPES due to enviromental situations. Like drug or alchol use and abuse (its called Adult Beverages for a reason - Be Adult. Its a mind set. How to correct that mind set? I dunno, call and we can talk about it. We'll touch on Brain Injury Coping Skills, of course. I will discuss the ground work of putting together a television show; left over and CHECKED candy from Halloween; one more clock change reminder, and discuss my Lincoln Golden Eagles football team.
Mr Stackhouse and I are taking TMDS on the road, with a visit into Colorado and Nebraska on the schedule of the 7-state trip. (And he wants to go to Vegas. Not sure there. Budget$ to abide - SSDI guy, ya know. Still, Colorado. Somethnig tells me I'll be "Rocky Mountain High, Colorado: For a Class 'A' school in Indiana, we made national news this weekend. And though LHS victory over Tri HIGH puts the Eagles in the Sectional Championship game - the score was NEVER the story, but confused supporters, a shattered communty and unchecked untruths from the Local FOX (boo) TV Station..
